About Me.

I'm Miriam. Midwife by profession and vocation. I am also a nurse and mindfulness instructor.
I moved to England 10 years ago as a nurse because I chose to become a midwife in a country where pregnancy and childbirth are seen as normal and cared for following women-centred, evidence-based guidelines.

Since then, I have trained in hospitals in England and Holland, where midwives are leading professionals in normal pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum care.

I am a midwife, lactation expert, and mindfulness instructor with hypnobirthing experience. I am truly passionate about women, the power of their bodies, and, above all, their Minds.

I am fascinated by accompanying couples during the adventure of pregnancy, the intensity and magic of childbirth and the hard but unique moments of the postpartum period.

A bit more...

I was born in the North of Spain but grew up in the sunny South. Reading and scuba diving were my favourite things in the World until I became a mum of two very young children.

I normally share my work between being the wellbeing lead for Maternity and working all around the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. My speciality is on the Fetal Medicine Unit.

I am here to guide, share tools, dispel fears and accompany couples who decide to take an active part on this journey, train, have options and make this experience a positive one.
